Can food make you a happier person
What is the first thought that comes to your mind when you hear “Eat well today for happiness tomorrow”, think about it, for me;
I thought about eating healthy.
When you think about eating healthy what comes to your mind, the thought that came to my mind was giving up the food I love the most.
JOY, PLEASURE, SATISFACTION, CHEERFULNESS, CONTENTMENT these are some of the words that come to mind when we think about happiness. Happiness is a state of mind, if this is true then what we put in our mouths would definitely impact our moods.
Did you know that food can greatly affect your mood, for better or worse? but when it comes to happiness and every other area of your life, food has the capacity to:

food plays a big role in how we feel, and So for instance if we do not eat what we should and we get sick we would
- be miserable
- not be able to go where we want to
- depend on others to help us, nobody likes that
- have a lot of expense
And the list goes on. Eating the foods we should, will be very beneficial to us in the long run, but the problem with us is that we want what tastes good to us at the time and not what is good for us.
I can remember I got sick and I had to make a drastic change where my diet was concerned, but I did not hesitate even though some of what I had to give u were my favourites. The benefits from my change of diet were great, but as soon as I felt better I started to eat some of the foods I had stopped eating. Lord help me!!. I know what I must do.
Studies have shown that the more positive you are the easier it will be to overcome sickness.
Eat well today for happiness tomorrow is such a compelling and profound statement, follow it and it will lead to a life full of joy.
Let us be realistic it does not mean that you will never get sad if you “Eat well today for happiness tomorrow”.Because things will go wrong, you will lose loved ones and have financial difficulties, you may even get sick, that is life. But If you are happy and positive you will be better able to deal with the crisis of life.
